Consultations are by appointment only and can be booked over the telephone or in person at the surgery. Please note that morning surgeries are by appointment on the day and can only be accessed by calling between 08:00 - 08:30.

Our bookable on the day appointments will be with the first available GP. Patients wishing to see a specific doctor will need to pre-book. We aim to get you in to see a doctor or health care professional within 48 hours so do try and book well in advance.

For the precise times of when our doctors and practice nurse hold surgeries, and the correct method of booking appointments, please refer to the clinician times tab in the opening times section of the website.

Easiest way to book your next appointment is to go online on https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk/Account/Login

Telephone Consultations

In some instances the doctor or one of our practice nurses may be able to advise you over the telephone. If you feel that your problem can be dealt with over the telephone, then consultations with a GP are available each day. If you wish to speak to one of them please telephone 0208 363 0305 preferably in the morning.

DOCTORLINK

Southbury Surgery would like to invite you to join doctorlink.

We have been looking at how we can improve access to Practice services; DoctorLink is our new online service where you can access advice and appointments on line.

To register for doctorlink and book your next GP appointment online please follow the below link

Practice Nurse

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with the practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

Interpreting

For privacy it would be better for the patient if a friend or family member attended for interpretation purposes. If this isn't possible we may be able to arrange for a interpretation service using the language line on an ipad. Please let reception know in advance if you require this service.

Chaperoning

For intimate examinations or procedures the health professionals may use a chaperone. If you would like to be accompanied by a chaperone please tell the doctor who will arrange for a fully trained member of staff to attend.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. Patients who consistently fail to attend booked appointments without prior warning may be removed from the practice list.  Please ensure that we have an up to date mobile number for you on our records as we send text reminders and you can cancel these if you wish by texting back (please be aware that if you text anything your appointment will automatically be cancelled by the system).
